Can I Connect A Solar Panel Charger To My Car Battery Without Interfering With The Alternator?

Would like to add a solar panel to help charge my car battery. Will this affect/hurt my alternator? Do I need to switch from alternator to solar.
I was hoping to leave the panel attached to the car during operation.
I’d like it as easy as possible.

Solar panel battery chargers are used to store the electricity produced by the solar cells suggesting that you still have an electric supply at night without light. There are batteries particularly made for pre-built off the shelf solar electricity systems and there are batteries that are built with a DIY power system?

A battery is basically a can full of chemicals that produce electrons. Chemical reactions that produce electrons are called electrochemical reactions?
One terminal is marked ( + ), or positive, while the second one is marked ( – ), or negative. In a big auto battery, there are 2 heavy lead posts that function as the terminals. Electrons collect on the negative terminal of the battery.

If you connect a wire between the negative and positive terminals, the electrons will flow from the negative to the positive terminal as fast as they can (and wear out the battery extremely quickly — this also has a tendency to be threatening, especially with large batteries, so it’s not something you want to be doing). Normally, you connect some form of load to the battery using the wire.
Inside the battery itself, a chemical reaction produces the electrons.

Electrons flow from the battery into a wire, and must travel from the negative to the positive terminal for the chemical reaction to happen. That is why a battery can sit on a shelf for a year and still have masses of power — unless electrons are flowing from the negative to the positive terminal, the chemical reaction doesn’t happen.

The need for chargeable batteries has grown significantly recently though the tenet of the rechargeable battery has been about since 1859, when French physicist Gaston Plante invented the lead acid cell, which would later become the first rechargeable battery. That very same chemistry is still used in today’s car battery.

The basic idea behind the rechargeable battery is simple: when electric energy is applied to the battery, the electron flow from negative to positive that happens during discharge is reversed and power is revived? This means that we can store solar energy and electricity in a rechargeable battery.

Car batteries are one of the oldest types of chargeable batteries and in fact, the electric automobile predates its gas-fired cousin.

For a DIY solar power home system, auto batteries are used as the solar panel battery charger because they’re so effective while being highly inexpensive ad can be acquired 2nd hand for even cheaperer. The rate of charge is set by how much electric current is authorized into the battery by the charger?

As an expert it’s quite quick to build cheap sources of green energy. My aim is to direct everyone to easy and simple solutions that save the earth while saving money as well.
